Hi. This is Jill. All I use anymore are tutorials. I’m so dependent on them. I use to use only written patterns back when I was young and first starting out. But after I broke down and got a cell phone and was introduced to RUclips , well that was the end of written patterns for me.( I’m a lazy old gal, and take the easiest way for me.)

Free is great for my budget. I’d be willing to pay for a pattern. If it’s something I know I’m gonna make over and over and can get the pattern down correctly. 5:50

Lots of great information in this video. I love free patterns. I am just starting out with reading patterns so I always look to see if there is a video tutorial to go along with the pattern. I am a visual/hands on learner so having both is wonderful!

Loads of free patterns on RUclips. Yarn Inspirations, Premier and Hobbii, All Free Crochet also has free patterns.

I get emails from Premier, Yarnspirations, Lion Brand and Herrschners regularly and I always check them out for free patterns that catch my eye. Lately, Herrschners has been having free pattern every Friday. I get the free patterns I like and download them to a crochet patterns folder in my computer. Of course, we can collect a huge amount of free patterns quickly. We must be sure to keep them organized to be able to locate them when we need them too.

I don't like buying patterns, when I did, I was unable to understand it, so if it's not on RUclips I don't buy. I do like that you have video, written & free.

I get emails with free patterns I go to RUclips for free patterns I Google for free patterns I have tons and tons of free patterns that I have wrote out and crocheted and I'm passing them all down to my niece

I start with RUclips, move on to my fave crocheters blogs (you are definitely at the top of that list), Instagram and Ravelry. If I still can’t find what I’m looking for, I will ‘google’ what I might be looking for. And last but not least: I check my plethora of Crochet books. I always love free patterns. ✌🏻❣️🧶

I love free patterns. I am retired so yes budget is an issue. I donate most of my projects to charities. Thanks for the information. I really prefer written patterns to videos, old school here. Still learning to follow diagram patterns, again old school.❤️🤪

I use mostly free patterns found on pinterest which drives me nuts with all the pop-ups and ravelry, also RUclips of course. I occasionally buy a pattern if it's irresistible

I have a ton of downloaded patterns from yarn sites! I follow a few youtubers who do tutorials also, and I also go to ravelry on occasion. What makes me angry is if on occasion, I purchase a pattern, and soon after, it becomes available on their blog! Thanks for being a great influencer!❤
